Keith Cunningham
Keith Cunningham comes to Charter Senior Living of Vinings with over 20 years of sales and marketing experience.
Keith entered the senior living space after caring for his Aunt Barb, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 bone cancer. He believes that caring for our residents is a reward in and of itself, and likens it to receiving a “second paycheck” that rejuvenates his soul.
Keith has a diverse background and has worked with several Fortune 500 companies. Keith worked in the radio and record industry, and he says his biggest claim to fame was working with a little band called Nickelback and helping them become a household name (even if some people laugh when they say it).
Keith has two sons, Cameron (23) and Carson (9), and enjoys spending time with them and molding them into respectful young men.
His hobbies include going to concerts, listening to a diverse range of music, reading, hiking and enjoying restaurants all over Atlanta.
Maryam Mullen, Executive Director
Maryam Mullen is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in mental health, social work, and senior living leadership. She has served in a variety of roles including crisis clinician, mental health therapist, and Director of Admissions and Social Services. Maryam later became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and Executive Director, bringing compassionate leadership to the senior living community.
With years of board service and advocacy, she has held key leadership roles such as the metro Atlanta President for the Georgia Society of Social Service Professionals (2019–2021) and current board chair for the Georgia Health Care Association/Georgia Center for Assisted Living (GHCA/GCAL). Nationally, she has also served as a State Leader for the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL).
In addition to her LNHA credential, Maryam is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and holds the Assisted Living Certified Administrator (ALCA) certification.
Currently residing in East Cobb, Georgia, Maryam enjoys life with her blended family, which includes her 11-year-old daughter, 9-year-old son, and 9-year-old bonus daughter. A University of Georgia graduate and avid Bulldogs fan, Maryam finds joy in supporting her children at swim meets, soccer tournaments, and dance recitals.
Her passion lies in building strong communities and creating meaningful, enriching experiences for seniors and their families.
